Alresford House Helical Oak Staircase
Oak helical staircase with glass balustrade and open treads.
This simple and elegant helical oak staircase was designed by architects at The Haddow Partnership for Old Alresford House, Hampshire. and realised by us at Zigzag in solid oak. The curved stringers were built up by laminating strips of solid oak, they in turn created a trough for the curved glass balustrade to sit in.
The treads are open with stainless steel riser bars to create the feeling of more space at ground floor level.
